Indian Painting

To celebrate new year at school, all the children of the school dressed in chinese attire. Silk blue with chinese buttons and fluff on the ends of each sleeve and collar. It was pretty cute. Some of us teachers - only Karen an oz and myself, went the face paint and hair in chop sticks and red pipecleaners with the style of twisting and red ribbon (mine) to make an effort for the chinese attire coz we didnt have the traditional dress which you can buy just up the road, but it doesnt appeal to me.. Anyway later at the ceremony thing, after we stopped the kids from pinching one another and feeling scared and all alone, the group of us young teachers were asked to dance this cross over your foot dance, wearing a sashay of red ribbon around our waist, and elastic over our fingers. The dance was done in front of children and a few adults. With everyone not knowing how to do the dance except one and with everyone participating it was hilarious and we had so much fun. Good practice for confidence in front of people
